Job summary

PaxOcean Group in Batam is seeking an Experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician with hands-on expertise in maintaining, servicing, and troubleshooting floating dock equipment such as cranes, generators, pumps, motors, winches, actuators, and electrical systems.

Qualifications

• Primary education completed with 10+ years in mechatronic control.
• Able to speak and write simple English.
• Knowledge of electronic instruments, power electronics, and mechanical control.
• Experience using testing tools and measuring instruments.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all HSE and quality aspects are complied.
• Maintain Floating Dock equipment (Crane, Actuator, Generator, Pump, Motor, Winch, Lamp).
• Perform scheduled service and testing; assist automation troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vessel crews; monitor progress.
• Document Preventive Maintenance on the Floating Dock.

Key Responsibilities

Tasks and Responsibilities :

• Ensure all HSE and quality aspects are complied.
• Assist and solve the site issue related to department.
• Maintenance Equipment at Floating Dock (Crane, Actuator, Generator, Pump, Motor, Winch, Lamp).
• Service Equipment as per Schedule (Crane, Actuator, Generator, Pump, Motor, Winch, Lamp).
• Assist Automation Troubleshooting Equipment (Crane, Actuator, Generator, Pump, Motor, Winch, Lamp).
• Preparing Stock Items of Floating Dock Parts.
• Assist with Subcontractor while Repair Process, Testing and Commissioning Equipment.
• Documentation of Preventive Maintenance Floating Dock.
• Identified Operational Inefficiencies and Implementation Corrective Measure to Increase Effectiveness.
• Assist and Monitoring Progress Replating Deck, Side Wall at Floating Dock.
• Assist and Communicate with Crew Vessel to Connect Shore Power from Dock to Vessel.
• Other assignment forms superior or which is assigned by the company.
• Following the Safety Rules and Regulation set refer to Occupational Health & Safety Policy and Environmental Policy by the yard.

Key Requirements

Preferred Experience :

• Completed Primary education with more than 10 years of relevant experience for Mechatronic control.
• Initiative, self-motivation and willingness to accept additional workload.
• Able to speak and write simple English.
• Young, strong and good behavior.
• Knowledge in electronic instruments, power electronic, mechanic control & mechanical.
• Understanding how to use multimeter or special tool for trouble shooting.
• Understanding of the principles of mechanical basic or advance.

Education And Key Certifications Necessary

• Candidate must process at leak S1.
• Able to Speak English to Maintenance communication with client.
• Effectively Communicate technical solution.
