Job summary

Expeditors is seeking an Ocean Export Agent to ensure timely movement of freight and information, delivering exceptional customer service within the Ocean Export Department in Indonesia.

You will manage cargo data entry, track and trace shipments, coordinate with airlines and vendors on SI/SO and customs clearance, prepare daily client reports, and uphold regulatory compliance, safety, and quality objectives for the branch.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Understanding of ocean documentation process a plus
• Hazardous Materials certification (preferred)
• Fluent in English

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow
• Track and Trace Ocean Export Files and reporting
• Meet compliance at all times to regulations internal and external in accordance with government regulations
• Coordinate with airlines, managing AWB (Air Waybill), export/import clearance with airport customs
• Booking with shipping lines, managing SI/SO, VGM submission, port coordination
• Coordinate with domestic trucking providers, waybill, GPS tracking, POD collection
• Provide daily report to customers and do daily monitoring with communication with vendor
• Respond to inquiries and escalate problems to management when necessary
• Maintain/update customers SOPs in the DLSOPs
• Provide proper billing information to the accounting department
