Job summary

Siloam Hospitals Group in Jakarta's Emergency Unit is seeking a dedicated nurse to deliver compassionate patient care and support high‑quality emergency services, guiding patients and families through urgent health events and ensuring quick, safe responses.

You will ensure rooms are prepared, equipment and medicines are ready, and you will monitor patients’ condition before, during, and after procedures, maintaining clear documentation.

Qualifications

• Diploma (D3) degree in nursing.
• Minimum 5 years work experience as a Level I Clinical Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Carry out patient nursing services in the Emergency Unit following standard nursing practices.
• Prepare facilities for smooth service and ensure rooms are secure and comfortable; verify equipment and medicines are ready.
• Provide nursing care, observe and monitor patient condition before, during, and after procedures.
• Assist patients and families before and during procedures by doctors, providing physical and psychological preparation and comfort.
• Prepare patients after procedures, including admin tasks, home care instructions, referrals, and prescriptions.
• Record and report nursing care to maintain accurate information flow.
• Engage in quality and safety procedures and participate in relevant trainings.

Job description

• Responsible for carrying out patient nursing services/care in the Emergency Unit
• Prepare facilities for smooth service and make it easier for patients/families to receive services, by: Arranging the security and comfort of the room. Check and ensure that all required equipment is functioning properly and that medicines and other necessary health equipment are available and ready to use
• Provide nursing care using standard nursing practice: Carry out emergency medical/nursing actions according to the patient's primary health problem. Observe, monitor the patient's health condition (general condition: physical, psychological, vital signs and main complaints) during the procedure and immediately after the procedure
• Helping patients before and during procedures by doctors, including: Preparing the patient both physically and psychologically, calming the patient, adjusting the patient's position. Provide a sense of security and comfort to the patient/family during the procedure
• Prepare patients who have completed procedures, including: Administrative needs, such as: instructions for home care, sick certificates, referral letters if necessary, and prescriptions for home use. Provide health education to patients/families as needed
• Implement and maintain a system for recording and reporting nursing care, so as to create an accurate information and communication system
• Implement procedures and practices for quality and safety services, including attending training, to support the achievement of hospital wide indicators and related department/unit targets
