Job summary

Siloam Hospitals Group is seeking a nurse to deliver emergency unit care in Indonesia. The role will involve preparing facilities, ensuring equipment and medicines are ready, and supporting patients and families through procedures.

You will monitor patients’ health, assist during and after procedures, and provide post-procedure education. The position requires a nursing degree and active STR with hospital experience; fresh graduates are welcome.

Qualifications

• Provide nursing care in Emergency Unit using standard nursing practice.
• Ensure room readiness and that equipment/medicines are available.
• Monitor patient health (general condition, vitals, complaints) during and after procedures.
• Assist patients before/during procedures and provide psychological comfort to patient/family.

Responsibilities

• Carry out emergency nursing actions according to patient health problems.
• Observe and monitor the patient during the procedure and immediately after.
• Help patients before and during procedures by doctors, including preparing the patient physically and mentally.
• Prepare patients post-procedure, including administrative needs and referrals if necessary.
• Provide health education to patients and families as needed.
• Implement and maintain a system for recording and reporting nursing care.

Responsible for carrying out patient nursing services/care in the Emergency Unit

Prepare facilities for smooth service and make it easier for patients/families to receive services, by: Arranging the security and comfort of the room. Check and ensure that all required equipment is functioning properly and that medicines and other necessary health equipment are available and ready to use

Provide nursing care using standard nursing practice: Carry out emergency medical/nursing actions according to the patient's primary health problem. Observe, monitor the patient's health condition (general condition: physical, psychological, vital signs and main complaints) during the procedure and immediately after the procedure

Helping patients before and during procedures by doctors, including: Preparing the patient both physically and psychologically, calming the patient, adjusting the patient's position. Provide a sense of security and comfort to the patient/family during the procedure

Prepare patients who have completed procedures, including: Administrative needs, such as: instructions for home care, sick certificates, referral letters if necessary, and prescriptions for home use. Provide health education to patients/families as needed

Implement and maintain a system for recording and reporting nursing care, so as to create an accurate information and communication system

Implement procedures and practices for quality and safety services, including attending training, to support the achievement of hospital wide indicators and related department/unit targets

Qualifications

• Registered Nursing degree (Ns.)
• Active STR
• Have a minimum of 2 years of work experience as a nurse in a hospital. Fresh graduate are welcome.
• Having emergency nursing experience will be a plus
