Job summary

Flextronics - The Flex Company in Batam, Indonesia is seeking an experienced NPI Assistant Manager to support product development, supplier interactions, and strategic planning. The role emphasizes ensuring product safety, quality, and timely implementation.

The successful candidate will collaborate with executives and engineering teams, oversee contract reviews, and drive improvements across the product lifecycle in a high-technology electronics setting.

Qualifications

• Typically requires 6 years of experience in engineering in the high technology electronics industry or related area.
• Demonstrates advanced operations, technical and people and/or process skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills.
• Demonstrates expert knowledge of the function and a thorough understanding of the company and related business.
• Demonstrates knowledge of multiple functional technologies/processes, industries or functions and understanding of interdependencies of such processes at the site.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the review of customer contracts and engineering designs by outlining requirements and considerations.
• Assists product support areas in gathering and analyzing data.
• Partners with other senior managers in establishing corporate strategic plans and objectives.
• Interacts regularly with executives, customers, and outside regulatory agencies.
• Provides technical supplier management as related to product development and integration.
• Makes sure that the products are safe and maintain high quality for the customers.
• Reports the progress of implementation of Flex’s products.
• Makes sure that the products provided to the customers are of high quality.
