Qualifications

• Typically requires 6 years of experience in engineering in the high technology electronics industry or related area.
• Demonstrates advanced operations, technical and people/process skills.

Responsibilities

• Participates in review of customer contracts and engineering designs by outlining requirements.
• Assists product support areas in gathering and analyzing data.
• Partners with senior managers in establishing corporate strategic plans and objectives.
• Interacts with executives, customers, and outside regulatory agencies.
• Provides technical supplier management related to product development and integration.
• Ensures products are safe and of high quality for customers.
• Reports progress of product implementation.

What a typical day looks like:

• Participates in the review of customer contracts and engineering designs by outlining requirements and considerations.
• Assists product support areas in gathering and analyzing data.
• Partners with other senior managers in establishing corporate strategic plans and objectives.
• Interacts regularly with executives, customers, and outside regulatory agencies.
• Provides technical supplier management as related to product development and integration.
• Makes sure that the products are safe and maintain high quality for the customers.
• Reports the progress of implementation of Flex's products.
• Makes sure that the products provided to the customers are of high quality.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

• Typically requires 6 years of experience in engineering in the high technology electronics industry or related area.
• Demonstrates advanced operations, technical and people and/or process skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills
• Demonstrates expert knowledge of the function and a thorough understanding of the company and related business.
• Demonstrates knowledge of multiple functional technologies/processes, industries or functions and understanding of interdependencies of such processes at the site.
