Job summary

MatchaTalent is seeking a Head of Mining Engineering (KTT) to lead and oversee mining activities in Sulawesi, ensuring compliance with ESDM regulations and GMP across exploration and early-operations phases.

You will manage permits, RKAB processes and environmental licenses, while guiding strategic mine planning, cost control, and contractor management with a strong emphasis on safety and environmental stewardship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or Geology or equivalent.
• POP, POM and POU certifications are required for KTT status.
• Strong leadership, decision-making and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with ESDM regulations and act as liaison with government agencies.
• Lead preparation, evaluation and control of key mining and environmental documents (RKAB, Feasibility Studies, AMDAL).
• Oversee mining operations including overburden removal, ore getting, hauling, stockpile management and shipping.
• Lead HSE initiatives, enforcing GMP and safety management systems.
• Mentor and evaluate operations team and contractors to meet technical and regulatory standards.
