Job summary

MatchaTalent seeks a Head of Mining Engineering (KTT) for a greenfield project in Southeast Sulawesi, Indonesia. You will ensure exploration and construction activities comply with ESDM regulations, prioritizing safety, environmental protection, and GMP.

The role requires overseeing permits, RKAB, feasibility studies, AMDAL, and coordination with government agencies. You will lead an operations team, manage contractors, and drive mine planning, budgeting, and productivity targets while upholding

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or Geology, with POP/POU where required.
• Minimum 8+ years in nickel mining with managerial or KTT experience.
• In-depth knowledge of ESDM regulations, RKAB, mine planning, grade control, stockpile management.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills; high integrity.
• Proficiency in English for technical coordination with teams and government stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with ESDM regulations and act as liaison with government agencies (permits, RKAB, licenses).
• Lead preparation and evaluation of RKAB, feasibility studies, and AMDAL documents for mine planning and production strategies.
• Oversee mining operations including overburden removal, ore getting, hauling, stockpile management, shipping, and grade control.
• Lead HSE initiatives by enforcing GMP and SMKP, ensuring environmental compliance.
• Mentor and evaluate operations team and contractors to meet technical, safety, and regulatory standards.
