PT CereStar Indonesia Tbk is seeking a Network Infrastructure professional to design, deploy, and maintain complex network environments across multiple sites in Indonesia. You will manage Ubiquiti UniFi networks, configure routers, firewalls, switches, and VPNs, and ensure consistent standards and reliable WAN connectivity.
The role requires 3–5+ years in networking, strong documentation, and willingness to travel.
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Engineering, Network Engineering or a related field.
3-5+ years of practical networking/infrastructure experience.
Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLAN, DHCP, DNS and VPN.
Practical Ubiquiti UniFi experience is strongly preferred.
Hands-on RJ45 termination and structured cabling experience.
Willing and able to travel extensively throughout Indonesia.
Good documentation and communication skills.
Design, deploy, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure including routers, gateways, firewalls, switches, access points, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, and VPNs.
Manage and maintain Ubiquiti UniFi network environments across multiple sites.
Maintain WAN connectivity using Starlink and conventional ISP services, including practical failover solutions.
Troubleshoot network issues including packet loss, instability, performance degradation, and site connectivity problems.
Ensure consistent network standards and configurations across all operating locations.
Install, test, repair, and maintain LAN cabling, patch panels, racks, and structured cabling infrastructure.
Perform RJ45 termination, replacement, cable testing, and fault finding.
Maintain CAT5e, CAT6, and CAT6A installations with proper labeling and documentation.
Install, repair, and troubleshoot fiber optic infrastructure.
Perform fiber termination and fusion splicing when required and operate appropriate fiber testing equipment.
Install, configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and replace desktop PCs, laptops, printers, dot matrix printers, network printers, monitors, UPS, and related equipment.
Provide technical support for end-user and network-connected devices.
Maintain accurate hardware inventory and lifecycle records.
Coordinate repair and replacement of faulty or obsolete equipment.
Conduct site surveys and assess existing or proposed IT and network infrastructure.
Visit branches, warehouses, depots, terminals, and manufacturing facilities as required to provide onsite technical support.
Deploy network racks, switches, gateways, Wi‑Fi equipment, and endpoint devices.
Coordinate ISP and Starlink activation and validate infrastructure readiness before site handover.
Work independently at remote and operational locations when required.
Establish and maintain standards for network topology, IP addressing, VLANs, Wi‑Fi, firewall policies, equipment models, and rack layouts.
Maintain configuration backups, firmware standards, monitoring, and basic network security controls.
Identify points of failure, network risks, and infrastructure weaknesses, and recommend practical improvements.
Ensure network and IT infrastructure remains reliable, secure, scalable, and supportable.
Keep network diagrams, equipment inventories, configurations, and site documentation up to date.
Coordinate with ISPs, Starlink providers, fiber providers, hardware vendors, and external contractors.
Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues before escalating them to external service providers.
Coordinate ISP/service activation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and resolution of connectivity issues.
Review technical proposals, scopes of work, and quotations for infrastructure projects.
Supervise external contractors during onsite installation, repair, and infrastructure work when required.
