Job summary

FAO Representation in Indonesia seeks a National Project Assistant for the FOLUR project to support planning, execution and monitoring of activities across the Ministry of Agriculture and Ministry of Forestry. The role is based in Jakarta and is a non-staff, 3-month assignment with potential extension.

The incumbent will work under the FAO PMU, coordinate with government partners, prepare documents, monitor progress and help with reporting and knowledge management to ensure sustainable outcomes

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, forestry, rural livelihoods, development management or similar field.
Minimum 5 years of professional project management experience.
Working knowledge of English and Bahasa Indonesia.
Indonesian nationality or valid work permit.

Responsibilities

Plan and coordinate project activities with MoA and MoFor to ensure alignment with the project document.
Support preparation and review of annual and quarterly work plans and related documents.
Monitor project implementation progress, expenditures, and outputs, and report findings.
Assist in budgeting, SOP compliance, and knowledge management activities.
Contribute to field visits and documentation of results and lessons learned.
