Job summary

FAO in Indonesia seeks a National Project Assistant for FOLUR to support planning, coordination, and reporting for the 3‑month project at FAO Indonesia’s country office in Jakarta. The incumbent will help integrate activities with MoA and MoFor, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to FAO procedures and standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in agriculture/forestry or related fields, and at least 5 years of project management experience, with fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in relevant project management.
• Working knowledge of English and Bahasa Indonesia.
• National of Indonesia or resident with valid work permit.
• Experience with Government and UN/FAO/UNDP procedures is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan project activities with MoA and MoFor; compile and analyze data for planning.
• Coordinate project implementation and ensure alignment with budgets and work plans.
• Support monitoring of expenditures and progress against targets.
• Prepare and review reports and visibility materials for project progress.
• Contribute to knowledge management and learning activities.
• Provide field support, documentation, and stakeholder communications.
