Job summary

CORE Group invites a National MEAL Coordinator in Jakarta, with travel to Papua and East Java, to lead data quality, reporting, and learning across CGPP Indonesia. The consultant will align MEAL practices with MOH standards, prepare data-driven briefings for MOH, US DOS, and partners, and strengthen data use for program decisions.

The role reports to the CGPP Indonesia Secretariat Director and requires Indonesian residency, strong Excel and data-visualization skills, and experience with MOH

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in public health, epidemiology, biostatistics, demography, or related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation of public health programs, including at least 3 years leading MEAL for donor-funded projects.
• Hands-on knowledge of Indonesian MOH health information systems and indicators, especially immunization, MCH, and surveillance.
• Proven experience in data quality assessment, data validation, and reconciliation with government data.
• Experience preparing donor reports and presentations for senior government and donor audiences; US Government reporting experience strongly preferred.
• Strong skills in Excel and at least one statistical or visualization tool (e.g. Stata, SPSS, R, Power BI, or Tableau); experience with DHIS2, KoboToolbox, or ODK is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Review and align CGPP MEAL framework with MOH standards and US DOS reporting requirements.
• Document data flows and establish routine data quality assurance.
• Prepare dashboard charts and data-briefings for meetings with MOH and donors.
• Lead data review meetings and turn findings into program adjustments.
• Ensure data protection and ethical standards in data collection and storage.
