Job summary

PT Kaltim Prima Coal in East Kalimantan seeks a Mining Engineer with strong open-pit experience to join our operations team. You will ensure safety, productivity, and cost-efficiency across extraction processes, working closely with contractors and internal stakeholders.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Mining/Civil/Geology, at least 3 years in open-pit mining, MINEX proficiency, Power BI familiarity, and English/Indonesian communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining, Civil, or Geology.
• Minimum 3 years in open-pit mining with contractor management.
• Familiar with digital tools: Power BI, data analytics, automation, AI for mining.
• Strong planning, cost control, forecasting, and budgeting skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate daily/weekly/monthly pit operation plans and sequences.
• Conduct pit inspections for land clearing, topsoil management, and dump development.
• Monitor coal flow logistics from pit to port; manage ROM, blending, and crushing.
• Provide technical feedback to contractors and review forecasts.
• Lead continuous improvement to boost productivity and reduce costs.
• Collaborate on HSES compliance and environmental safety.
