Job summary

PT Kaltim Prima Coal seeks a highly motivated Mining Engineer to join its elite technical team in East Kalimantan. The role focuses on ensuring daily production targets while upholding strict safety and environmental standards.

Willingness to relocate to East Kutai Regency is required. The candidate brings a Bachelor’s in Mining Engineering (or related field), 3+ years in open-pit mining, and strong skills in mine planning, production analysis, cost control, and contractor management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Geology from a reputable university.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in open-pit mining operations.
• Experience in contractor management.
• Proficient in mine planning, production analysis, and cost control.
• Proficient in MS Office and MINEX for pit design and scheduling.
• Experience with digitalization, BI tools (Power BI), data analytics, and AI in mining.
• Strong English and Indonesian communication; negotiation and teamwork.
• Willing to relocate to East Kutai Regency, East Kalimantan; aligned with HSES standards.

Responsibilities

• Review short-term mining plans, stripping ratios, and coal quality parameters.
• Supervise contractor activities for productivity and cost-effectiveness.
• Analyze data to identify productivity improvements and cost optimizations.
• Coordinate coal flow from pit to port, ROM management, blending, and hauling.
• Identify operational risks in mine schedules and implement proactive solutions.
• Contribute to Health, Safety, and Environment goals on site.
