Job summary

COSCO in Papua, Indonesia seeks a Technical Expert, Mine Operations to plan, design and coordinate underground infrastructure including water supply, compressed air, electrical systems and ventilation networks for current and future mining operations.

You will map existing services, calculate demand, optimize routing, and minimize disruptions while mentoring staff and applying advanced technology in a multicultural team.

Qualifications

• Ten years of proven underground mining experience in an operational environment.
• Fluent in English and willingness to learn Bahasa.
• Strong supervisory and leadership capabilities with safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design and coordinate the provision of infrastructure such as water supply, compressed air, electrical systems and ventilation networks.
• Map existing services, calculate current and future demand, and optimize service routing to minimize downtime.
• Transfer knowledge within a multicultural organization and mentor subordinates to build a professional team.
• Collaborate with internal and external departments to maintain safety records and meet development targets.
