Job summary

UniPoint is seeking a Merchant Acquisition professional in Surabaya to identify and approach merchants, present the value proposition, manage the sales process from prospecting to closing, and support the initial onboarding.

You will build relationships, maintain a healthy sales pipeline, and monitor subscription status to sustain recurring business. A 2+ year background in sales or business development is preferred, with strong communication and a results-driven mindset.

Qualifications

• ≥2 years of experience in sales, business development or merchant acquisition or similar roles.
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Proactive and confident in approaching and acquiring new merchants.
• Target-oriented with the ability to consistently achieve sales targets.
• Good understanding of the F&B, retail or hospitality industry is a plus.
• Strong follow-up, organization and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prospect potential merchants for UniPoint.
• Approach and present UniPoint’s products and value proposition to prospective merchants.
• Manage the sales process from initial contact through negotiation and closing.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants.
• Coordinate the initial merchant onboarding and handover to the relevant team.
• Follow up with prospects and maintain an accurate sales pipeline.
• Monitor merchant subscription status to support recurring business.
