Job summary

Uniqlo in Jakarta is seeking a Merchandising & Planning Staff to develop, manage, and optimize merchandise plans that drive sales, profitability, and healthy inventory across stores, warehouses, and factories. You will align performance with production and inventory execution.

The role requires strong data analysis, forecasting, and cross-functional collaboration with teams including store operations, logistics, and senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the retail industry, preferably at a supervisory level.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze historical sales data to forecast demand and identify risks and opportunities.
• Develop comprehensive merchandise plans on a weekly, monthly, half-yearly, and yearly basis.
• Prepare and manage sales targets, initial allocation plans, and inventory and production plans.
• Collaborate with in-store teams to optimize product display and store layout.
• Plan promotions, price actions, and inter-branch transfers for slow-moving items.
• Create efficient assortment boxes for stores, warehouses, and factories.
• Monitor sales performance, gross profit, and inventory conditions; take corrective actions.
• Coordinate with production, factory, and logistics teams for timely delivery.
