Job summary

PT Catur Mitra Sejati Sentosa (Mitra10) is seeking a proactive Category Manager to lead the Electric & Lighting category. You will oversee planning, sourcing, pricing, promotions, and trading terms end-to-end.

Based at Mitra10 Head Office in Tangerang, you will build strong supplier relationships, monitor stock levels, and collaborate with marketing and store operations to drive growth through data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business-related field with GPA ≥ 3.0.
• 2–3 years in Buying, Merchandising or Category Management in retail/building materials.
• Strong negotiation and analytical, strategic thinking.
• Detail-oriented, business-minded, thrives in dynamic retail.
• Willing to be placed at Head Office in Tangerang, Banten.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end management of Electric & Lighting category: planning, sourcing, pricing, promotions, and trading terms.
• Build relationships with local and international suppliers.
• Monitor inventory and stock rotation.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and marketing support to margins.
• Collaborate with marketing and store ops for promos and launches.
• Analyze sales data and category trends to drive growth.

Job description

1. Manage the Electric & Lighting product category end-to-end: product planning, sourcing, pricing, promotions, & Trading Term.

2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers to secure the best deals and programs.

3. Monitor inventory levels and product performance to ensure availability and healthy stock rotation.

4. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and marketing support to achieve target margins.

5. Collaborate with the marketing and store operations teams to execute promotional activities and product launches.

6. Analyze sales data, category trends, and competitors to support business growth.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, Marketing, Industrial Engineering or related field with a minimun GPA of 3.00.

2. At least 2-3 years of working experience in Buying, Merchandising or Category Management, from Industry Retail Building Materials or Supplier.

3. Strong Negotiation, Trading Term, Analytical, & Strategic/Conceptual thinking.

4. A detail-oriented and business-minded professional who thrives in a dynamic retail environment.

6. Fluent in English (Ability to communicate in Mandarin is a plus).

7. Willing to be placed Head Office - Mitra 10 Gading Serpong, Tangerang, Banten.
