Job summary

Mixwork Pte. Ltd. is seeking a motivated Import & Customs Operations Staff to support our logistics and import activities in Jakarta.

The ideal candidate has hands-on freight forwarding experience and a solid understanding of Indonesian import-export regulations and customs procedures. You will coordinate with PPJK, warehouses, forwarders, and internal teams to ensure accurate PIB reviews, smooth clearance, timely deliveries, and compliant documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of freight forwarding, logistics, import-export, or customs experience.
• Strong understanding of Indonesian import-export regulations and customs procedures.
• Experience reviewing PIB and other customs documents.
• Familiar with coordinating with PPJK, warehouses, and service providers.
• Based in Jakarta with a commute of ≤1 hour.

Responsibilities

• Review import documentation including PIB and supporting customs documents.
• Coordinate with PPJK, freight forwarders, and customs-related parties.
• Monitor shipments and ensure compliance with Indonesian regulations.
• Liaise with warehouses for goods receiving and deliveries.
• Maintain records and reports on import/export operations.
• Follow up shipment status and resolve operational issues.
• Communicate with internal departments and external service providers.
• Ensure all documentation is complete and compliant.

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Import & Customs Operations Staff to support our logistics and import operations. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in the freight forwarding industry and a solid understanding of Indonesian import-export regulations and customs procedures. This role requires close coordination with PPJK, warehouses, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth customs clearance, timely delivery, and compliance with all applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and verify import documentation, including PIB (Import Declaration) and supporting customs documents.
• Coordinate with PPJK, freight forwarders, and customs-related parties to ensure efficient customs clearance processes.
• Monitor import and export shipments and ensure compliance with Indonesian customs regulations.
• Liaise with warehouses regarding goods receiving, inventory coordination, and deliveries to customers.
• Ensure all import and export documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
• Follow up on shipment status and proactively resolve operational issues related to logistics and customs clearance.
• Communicate with internal departments and external service providers to support supply chain activities.
• Maintain proper records and reports related to import, export, and customs operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s Degree (S1) or Diploma (D3) in any discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a freight forwarding, logistics, import-export, or customs-related environment.
• Strong understanding of Indonesian import-export regulations and customs procedures.
• Experienced in reviewing and checking PIB and other customs documents.
• Familiar with coordinating with PPJK, freight forwarders, warehouses, and customs authorities.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Strong administrative, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to learn and adapt to new challenges and business processes.
• PReferrably based in Jakarta, with an estimated commuting time to the office of no more than one hour.
