Job summary

Maison Bali, an architecture and interior design studio based in Canggu, Bali, seeks an experienced MEP Engineer to design and integrate electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems for villas, hotels and restaurants.

You will produce clear drawings (AutoCAD/Revit), prepare BOQs and coordinate with architects, contractors and local engineers on site through handover. Based in Bali, you will travel to sites as needed and ensure Indonesian standards (SNI, PLN) and permits are met.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related).
• 4+ years of MEP design experience, ideally on villas, hotels, resorts or restaurants.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing and HVAC design, and of Indonesian standards and permit requirements.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; Revit is a strong plus.
• Able to prepare BOQs and cost estimates.
• Fluent Bahasa Indonesia and good professional English.
• Based in Bali and available for site visits.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems: power distribution, lighting circuits, panels, sockets, data, CCTV, smart home.
• Design plumbing and drainage: water supply, hot water, sewage, septic tanks or STP, rainwater, pool systems.
• Design mechanical systems: air conditioning, ventilation, kitchen exhaust for restaurants.
• Produce clear MEP drawings, schematics and specifications (AutoCAD and/or Revit).
• Prepare bills of quantities (BOQ) and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with architects and interior designers from concept stage to integrate MEP without compromising the design.
• Coordinate with structural engineers, contractors and suppliers.
• Review contractor drawings and material submittals.
• Visit sites, check installations and solve problems during construction.
• Support testing and commissioning before handover.
• Beyond Bali: coordinate with local engineers abroad for international projects.
