Job summary

PT Colliers International Indonesia is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support MEP activities across a project lifecycle, with a focus on data center environments.

You will coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors, review drawings, support testing and commissioning, and ensure compliance with safety and local regulations.

A Diploma or Bachelor's in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and 5–8 years’ experience are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in MEP project management, with exposure to Data Center projects preferred.
• Strong understanding of critical systems including HVAC, Electrical Distribution, UPS, Generators, Fire Protection, and BMS.
• Experience coordinating contractors, consultants, and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Familiarity with testing & commissioning processes for mission-critical facilities.
• Good communication in Bahasa Indonesia and English, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and coordinating all Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project progress, schedules, quality standards, and contractor performance.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to resolve technical and site issues.
• Review M&E drawings, specifications, method statements, and shop drawings.
• Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities for critical M&E systems.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and local regulations.
• Prepare project reports, progress updates, and risk assessments.
