Job summary

Alcon MX is seeking a Packaging and Labeling Engineer to lead the development, validation, and execution of packaging and labeling solutions for our products. The role involves working with vendors to build and validate packaging machines, ensuring regulatory compliance, and optimizing packaging processes for efficiency and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Packaging Engineering or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in packaging engineering, preferably in regulated manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of packaging materials and their performance.
• Experience with packaging equipment and vision/inspection systems is preferred.
• Familiarity with GxP and regulatory standards (ISO 11607, FDA 21 CFR Part 820, EU MDR).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize packaging systems to meet regulatory and quality requirements.
• Lead prototypes, assembly, testing, and line trials for new concepts.
• Qualification and validation of packaging equipment and processes (IQ/OQ/PQ).
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Regulatory, and Supply Chain to enable tech transfer.
• Ensure labeling and artwork compliance across markets.
