Job summary

PT Citec Engineering Indonesia is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to engage with clients, prepare proposals, and lead technical pitches. You will visit sites, explain equipment, and translate client needs into actionable technical specifications.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering with 5 years of experience in cement/mining equipment, fluent English, and is comfortable engaging with international partners and reading engineering drawings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5 years' experience with mechanical equipment, ideally in cement and/or mining industries.
• Must fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Chinese language proficiency is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret technical/engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Communicate directly with clients to understand their technical and business needs
• Prepare technical proposals and equipment specification documents
• Conduct client site visits and deliver technical pitches, explaining mechanical equipment in clear terms
• Research the Indonesian market for mechanical equipment, especially in cement and mining industries
• Identify potential customers and generate new business leads
• Follow up on project leads and maintain client relationships
• Negotiate technical and commercial terms with customers within approved pricing guidelines
• Perform core general marketing duties alongside the above
