Job summary

PT Terminal Nilam Utara in East Java seeks a passionate Mechanical Engineer for the Maintenance Team to ensure reliability and availability of terminal facilities. You will support the integrity of pumps, tanks, and piping systems while upholding SHE standards.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering (GPA 3.00) and at least five years of relevant experience, with strong problem-solving and teamwork skills. Indonesian industrial environment; on-site work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with GPA >= 3.00.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical principles, drawings, and risk assessment.
• Familiar with pumps, piping systems, storage tanks, valves, MOVs, and basic K3 Umum.
• Awareness of industry standards and SHE policies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure reliability, availability, and optimal performance of mechanical equipment to support uninterrupted terminal operations.
• Perform equipment inspections, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and recommend maintenance solutions.
• Prepare maintenance plans, execute work progress, and maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.
• Record spare parts availability, material requirements, and maintenance inventory to ensure operational readiness.
• Support SHE policies including risk assessment and LOTO procedures.

About the role

We are looking for a passionate and proactive Mechanical Engineer to join our Maintenance Team and support the reliability and availability of our terminal facilities and equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the reliability, availability, and optimal performance of mechanical equipment to support uninterrupted terminal operations.
• perform equipment inspections, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and recommend effective maintenance solutions.
• perform maintenance plans, make work progress, and maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.
• record spare parts availability, material requirements, and maintenance inventory to ensure operational readiness.
• Support the implementation of the Company's Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) policies, including risk assessment and Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with minimum GPA 3.00 from reputable university
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering
• Strong knowledge of mechanical principle, mechanical drawing, Risk Assessment
• Good knowledge about basic mechanical, pumps, piping systems, storage tanks, valves, Motor-Operated Valves (MOVs) and basic K3 Umum
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards, safety regulations and quality management systems
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical mindset
• Attention to detail and commitment to precision in technical work
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams
