Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or closely related discipline.
• BS in Mechanical Engineering with strong experience in design, analysis, or R&D.
• Solid understanding of applied mechanics and mechanics fundamentals.
• Experience delivering analytical or simulation-based engineering solutions.
• Proficiency with Python for automation and model preparation.

Responsibilities

• Solve and validate mechanical engineering problems through design, analysis, simulation, testing, or R&D.
• Translate physical system requirements into analytical or computational models.
• Create or modify geometry, meshes, materials, loads, contacts, constraints, and solver inputs.
• Perform structural, thermal, dynamic, fatigue, buckling, or vibration analyses.
• Use Python to automate model preparation, simulations, parameter sweeps, optimization, and verification.
