Electrum seeks a Mechanical Engineer to develop and improve mechanical systems across our electric two-wheeler ecosystem. You will design components, create CAD models, and work with riders, workshop feedback and field-performance insights to deliver durable, maintainable solutions.

You will prototype, test, and validate designs, investigate failures, and collaborate with electrical, battery, product, and operations teams to ensure reliable performance and smooth production readiness.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Hands-on experience in mechanical design, product development, testing or manufacturing engineering.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD tools (SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo) and engineering drawings.
• Ability to conduct testing, root-cause analysis and translate findings into design improvements.
• Experience with prototypes, suppliers and cross-functional teams.

Responsabilidades

• Design and improve mechanical components and assemblies for electric two-wheelers, balancing safety, durability, performance and cost.
• Translate rider and field feedback into engineering requirements and product improvements.
• Develop 3D CAD models, BOMs and technical specifications.
• Evaluate materials, tolerances and fitment using calculations and simulation.
• Build and validate prototypes through functional and durability testing reflecting real conditions.
• Investigate failures and implement corrective actions with verified effectiveness.
• Improve serviceability to speed maintenance and field repairs.
• Collaborate with electrical, battery, product, quality, supply chain and operations teams.
• Work with suppliers on fabrication methods and production readiness.
• Maintain design revisions and test records for consistent implementation.
