Role Description

The Marketing Lending role is a full-time, on-site position located in Batam. The role focuses on promoting and selling lending products, identifying prospective customers, and building strong relationships with individuals and businesses in the local community. Daily activities include conducting market visits, explaining loan products and credit terms, assisting customers in completing loan applications, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth loan processing. The role also involves monitoring existing customers’ loan performance, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to lending campaigns and promotional activities. This position requires proactive outreach, adherence to internal policies and regulations, and a strong focus on customer service and ethical lending practices.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in customer relationship management, negotiation, and persuasive communication for marketing and selling lending products.
• Ability to conduct market research, identify target segments, and develop practical outreach strategies in the local Batam area.
• Competence in basic financial analysis, understanding of credit principles, and careful documentation of customer information.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, teamwork, and collaboration with internal departments such as credit, operations, and collections.
• Proficiency in using office software and digital tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software, and CRM or banking systems).
• Minimum of a high school diploma; a diploma or bachelor’s degree in finance, business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience in banking, microfinance, or lending sales is an advantage, especially within the Batam market.
• High level of integrity, customer-focused mindset, and willingness to work in the field to meet targets and deadlines.
