Job summary

PT Pelayaran Sumber Rejeki Bahari Permaii is seeking a Marine Superintendent to oversee fleet operations, safety, and compliance. The role requires CoC with ANT II, at least two years on tankers, and strong IMO regulation knowledge.

The position involves guiding Masters on loading plans, ensuring ISM/TMSA/ISPS/MLC compliance, and preparing vessels for SIRE and major inspections. Shore experience is preferred and you will lead risk management and emergency responses.

Qualifications

• 2+ years sailing experience on ocean-going tankers (oil/chemical/gas)
• Strong knowledge of SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM Code, ISPS, OCIMF/TMSA, IMCA frameworks
• Experience in a shore-based Marine/HSSE role preferred

Responsibilities

• Monitor navigation, cargo operations, tank cleaning; guide Masters on loading/discharging plans.
• Maintain ISM, TMSA, ISPS, MLC, ISO standards; oversee crew training and internal vessel audits.
• Prepare ships for SIRE, IMCA, and Oil Major inspections to secure charterer approvals.
• Investigate accidents; lead safety initiatives; participate in emergency response.

a. Certification: Certificate of Competency (CoC) min. ANT II license.

b. Sailing Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience sailing on oil, chemical, or gas tankers (ocean going).

c. Regulatory Knowledge: Strong knowledge with IMO regulations (SOLAS, MARPOL), ISM Code, ISPS, OCIMF/TMSA, IMCA frameworks.

d. Shore Experience: Experience in a ship management/ship operator office or shore-based Marine/HSSE role is preferred.
