Job summary

PT Indonesia Defence Maritime is seeking a Piping Technician for shipbuilding projects. You will assemble, install, and test piping systems, ensuring quality and safety while coordinating with production teams for proper integration.

Responsibilities include reading drawings and diagrams, handling multiple materials, and performing leak tests on installed systems. This role requires at least 1 year of piping experience and willingness to work on shipyard sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma (D3) in Mechanical Engineering, Piping, or related field.
• At least 1 year of work experience as a piping technician in shipbuilding or piping system construction.
• Knowledge of different piping materials and joining techniques (welding, fitting, flaring, etc.).
• Ability to read isometric drawings, P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams), and technical specifications.
• Detail-oriented, disciplined, and a strong team player.
• Willing to work at shipbuilding project sites.
