Job summary

PT Indonesia Defence Maritime in Jakarta is seeking Mechanical Technicians to support shipbuilding projects. You will install, maintain, and align ship engines and mechanical systems, ensuring safety and performance standards are met.

Responsibilities

Install ship main engines (inboard and outboard) and transmission systems, shafts and propellers.
Set up steering systems including steering gear, pumps and generators.
Perform regular maintenance on ship engines and mechanical systems.
Conduct machine alignment checks to meet safety and performance standards.
Read and interpret technical drawings and mechanical specifications.
Coordinate with other technical teams to ensure proper system integration and project timelines.
