Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking an Intern - Manufacturing Process Engineering in its Cikarang facility to join the Methods team. You will help design, map and improve processes, prepare work instructions, and implement digital solutions while applying Schneider Production System and Lean tools.

The role focuses on contributing to factory and warehouse efficiency, leading transversal projects, and collaborating with operations, supply chain, and quality teams.

Qualifications

• Active student in Industrial Engineering or related field, max 8th semester.
• Available to intern onsite for up to 12 months.
• Fluency in English.
• Advanced level in Excel, PowerPoint, and AutoCAD 2D.
• Knowledgeable in manufacturing process or supply chain.
• Fast learning and ability to work under pressure.
• Problem solving and result oriented mindset.
• Experience in process improvement, lean implementation and/or warehouse process design.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the global efficiency of the factory and warehouse.
• Bring diagnoses expertise to optimize means, methods, tools and systems.
• Lead complex and transversal projects to improve processes using the right methodology focusing on: Safety and ergonomics, Quality & Customer satisfaction, Efficiency & Service Level, Cost reduction.
• Manage big projects related to logistic, manufacturing or digitalization. Analyze end to end logistic flow in order to propose improvements and keep our customers satisfied.
