Job summary

Casco SEA (Casco Automotive Group - An Amphenol Company) in Batam is seeking a General Ledger Accountant to ensure accurate and timely general ledger accounting, period-end closing and financial reporting. You will work with internal departments and external auditors to guarantee compliance with US GAAP and IFRS under the Finance Manager.

The role requires 3–5 years of GL experience in manufacturing, strong Excel and English skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting; CPA is a plus.
• 3–5 years of experience as a General Ledger Accountant in manufacturing.
• Strong technical accounting background with GAAP familiarity.
• Basic knowledge of Indonesian tax (Art. 21, 23/26, 4(2), PPH badan).
• Proficient in Excel and MS-Office; good data handling and analysis.
• Excellent English skills, both verbal and written.
• Structured and organized with numbers-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals and prepayments; ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Perform month-end, quarter-end and year-end close and hard close per calendar.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve items.
• Maintain chart of accounts and proper cost centre coding.
• Record intercompany transactions including foreign currency revaluations.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and corporate reports.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Coordinate with auditors and ensure compliance with US GAAP/IFRS.
