Job summary

PT SHOU FONG LASTINDO in Surabaya seeks a Compliance Manager to oversee regulatory, legal, and internal policy adherence across operations. The role builds and maintains compliance frameworks, and coordinates audits and corrective actions.

In this on‑site position, you will train staff, report to senior leadership, and collaborate with production, quality, HR, and finance while liaising with regulators as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and risk management practices relevant to manufacturing and industrial operations.
• Experience developing and implementing policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure adherence to legal and contractual requirements.
• Proficiency in conducting compliance audits, investigations, and root‑cause analyses, with the ability to recommend practical remedial actions.
• Solid understanding of occupational health and safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality management systems (e.g., ISO frameworks) is highly beneficial.
• Excellent analytical, reporting, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex regulatory texts.
• Strong communication and training skills, capable of delivering clear guidance and building awareness across diverse teams and organizational levels.
• Demonstrated ability to work on‑site in a manufacturing environment, collaborate cross‑functionally, and manage multiple priorities under time constraints.
• Proficiency in Indonesian and working‑level English, with strong ethical standards and a commitment to confidentiality and impartiality.

Responsibilities

• Oversee regulatory, legal, and internal policy adherence across the company’s operations.
• Develop and maintain compliance frameworks, drafting and updating internal policies and procedures.
• Ensure alignment with local laws, industry standards, and customer requirements.
• Monitor operational activities, conduct regular audits and risk assessments, and coordinate corrective actions where gaps are identified.
• Train and guide employees on compliance‑related topics, support investigations into potential non‑compliance, and prepare reports for senior leadership.
• Collaborate with production, quality, HR, and finance teams, and liaise with external auditors and regulatory authorities when needed.
