Job summary

PT Talenta Eksekutif Asia is seeking an Overseas Compliance Specialist to strengthen regulatory alignment and legal risk management for Indonesian operations. The role serves as a bridge between local operations, authorities, and global stakeholders, focusing on risk mitigation and policy implementation.

The candidate should have a law degree with 3+ years in compliance or regulatory affairs within multinational settings, and hold or pursue international certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in compliance, governance, regulatory affairs, or legal practice at a multinational or top-tier firm.
• International compliance certifications such as CAMS, CFCS, CIPP/E, CIPM, or ICA are strongly preferred.
• Fluent English is mandatory; Mandarin Chinese proficiency is strongly preferred for global reporting.
• Willing to work full-time on-site in South Jakarta.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain communications with regulatory authorities and external counsel.
• Monitor regulatory developments and assess risks affecting local operations.
• Develop compliance risk maps and mitigation recommendations.
• Review contracts, partnership agreements, and sensitive documents for compliance.
• Identify exposure and provide actionable recommendations to business teams.
• Lead the resolution of compliance incidents with proper documentation and escalation.
• Ensure alignment of compliance programs with Indonesian regulations and policies.
• Deliver internal compliance training to strengthen regulatory awareness.
• Localization of global compliance policies for Indonesian operations.
• Prepare reports, risk assessments, and regulatory analyses for senior management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to balance compliance with business objectives.
