Job summary

PT Pan Brothers, Tbk is seeking a skilled Mandarin Translator/Interpreter for full-time work in Boyolali, Jawa Tengah. You will bridge language gaps between international partners and domestic teams, supporting administrative and executive tasks with multilingual communication.

The role requires fluency in Mandarin, Indonesian, and English, plus prior translation experience and knowledge of business terminology. Manufacturing/textile familiarity is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Mandarin Chinese fluency (simplified and traditional) at native or near-native level.
• Excellent Indonesian and English with proven translation/interpretation ability.
• Experience as translator/interpreter in a professional business setting.
• Strong business terminology knowledge across industries.
• Excellent written and oral communication with high accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple translation tasks independently.
• Professional demeanour with cultural sensitivity.
• Familiarity with translation tools; certification is a plus.
• Manufacturing/textile industry experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate translation and interpretation for Mandarin communications in business and daily interactions.
• Translate documents, contracts, reports between Mandarin, Indonesian, and English.
• Interpret during meetings, negotiations, and presentations with Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Support executives with multilingual communication and administrative tasks.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism handling sensitive information.
• Assist in cultural liaison to enable smooth international relationships.
• Proofread and quality-check translations for consistency and accuracy.
• Coordinate scheduling and logistics for interpretation assignments.
