Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bekasi for a Mandarin Translator and Interpreter. The individual will translate documents, emails, presentations, and technical materials between Mandarin and Indonesian/English to support daily operations in the automotive manufacturing environment. The role includes interpreting in meetings, factory visits, and training sessions to facilitate clear communication between local teams and Mandarin-speaking stakeholders. The translator and interpreter will ensure accuracy, cultural and contextual relevance, and confidentiality of all information handled. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional departments, supporting administrative communication tasks, and assisting in the preparation of bilingual reports and documentation.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written) and Indonesian, with good command of English for business communication.
• Proven experience in translation and interpretation, preferably in manufacturing, automotive, or industrial environments.
• Ability to translate technical and operational documents with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to facilitate meetings and discussions across cultures.
• Good organizational and time management skills to handle multiple translation and interpretation requests efficiently.
• Familiarity with basic office software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, presentation tools) and digital collaboration platforms.
• Bacheloru2019s degree in Languages, Translation, International Relations, or a related field is preferred.
• Willingness to work on-site in Bekasi and collaborate closely with production, engineering, and management teams.
• Integrity and professionalism in handling sensitive information and company documents.
• Experience in or interest in the automotive industry and industrial terminology is an advantage.
