Job summary

Pengiklan Anonim seeks a skilled interpreter to bridge communication among the sales team, Indonesian clients, and business partners in Chinese, Indonesian, and English. You will translate materials, accompany visits, and help prepare meeting minutes to ensure accurate agreements and smooth negotiations.

The role requires fluent mastery of three languages, plus at least 2 years in interpretation or related fields, and willingness to travel across Indonesia and Southeast Asia.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Indonesian, Chinese and English as working languages for spoken and written communication.
• 2+ years experience in business interpretation, sales support, or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Hold valid legal work status in Indonesia or be eligible to work locally.

Responsibilities

• Provide three-way interpretation among the sales team, Indonesian clients, and partners in Chinese, Indonesian and English.
• Translate sales materials, manuals, contracts, emails and other documents.
• Accompany sales team on client visits and provide on-site interpretation.
• Assist in preparing business meeting minutes.
• Interpret local Indonesian business culture for the Chinese team.
• Assist Sales Manager in collecting market information and organizing leads.
• Follow up on inquiries, quotations, contracts and payments.
• Coordinate with distributors, operators and after-sales teams.
• Track delivery and installation progress.
• Maintain relationships and conduct regular follow-ups.

Translate sales materials, product manuals, contracts and agreements, business emails, and other documents. Accompany the sales team on client visits, provide on-site interpretation, and assist in preparing business meeting minutes. Assist the Chinese team in understanding local Indonesian business culture, customs, and communication practices to minimize cross-cultural collaboration challenges. Support the Sales Manager in collecting market information, organizing customer leads, and following up on potential clients. Follow up on key sales process milestones, including customer inquiries, quotations, contract signing, and payment collection. Coordinate with local distributors, operators, and after-sales service teams, and track equipment delivery and installation progress. Maintain customer relationships, conduct regular follow-ups, and provide feedback on customer needs and market developments.

About you

• Fluency in Indonesian, Chinese, and English, with all three languages usable as working languages for both spoken and written communication

• Hold valid legal work status in Indonesia or otherwise be legally eligible to work locally
• Willingness to travel within Indonesia and Southeast Asia
