Job summary

PABRIK TIANG PANCANG in Semarang seeks a seasoned Purchasing/Procurement specialist to manage end-to-end sourcing for construction operations. You will coordinate with departments to understand needs, source suppliers, and ensure timely deliveries.

From evaluating quotes and negotiating terms to creating POs and maintaining supplier data, you will drive cost efficiency and quality while meeting schedule targets. Mandarin fluency and strong teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: D3/S1 in Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Logistics or related fields.
• Fluent in Mandarin Chinese (spoken).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Purchasing/Procurement.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Detail-oriented, responsible and able to work toward targets.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to work in a construction company environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct the purchasing process for goods and company requirements according to requests from relevant departments
• Search, select, and communicate with suppliers and vendors
• Request and compare price quotes, quality, and delivery times from multiple suppliers
• Negotiate prices and purchasing terms with suppliers
• Create and process Purchase Orders (PO) according to company procedures
• Ensure ordered goods meet agreed specifications, quantities, quality, and delivery times
• Follow up on order status and goods delivery
• Coordinate with Warehouse, Production, Finance, and other relevant departments regarding goods needs and receipt
• Maintain and update supplier data, goods prices, and purchasing documents
• Record and file purchasing documents neatly and systematically
