Job summary

MatchaTalent is seeking a Finance, Accounting & Tax (FAT) Manager to lead finance, accounting, taxation, and governance for a nickel mining-focused group in Indonesia. This on-site role requires strong cross-border reporting expertise and regulatory compliance.

The candidate will oversee budgeting, cash flow, auditing readiness, and interaction with banks, authorities, and insurers while supporting regional HQ and local leadership with strategic financial guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
• Minimum 8–10 years in finance, accounting, and tax with leadership experience.
• Experience in mining, oil & gas, commodity trading, or capital-intensive industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead finance, accounting, bookkeeping, treasury, and reporting activities with compliance.
• Oversee tax planning, reporting, compliance, and external tax audits per Indonesian laws.
• Supervise AR, AP, banking, cash flow, and cost control to maintain healthy finances.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, monthly reports, variance analysis, and strategic insights.
• Ensure timely statutory statements and management reports per local and corporate standards.
• Coordinate with banks, external auditors, tax consultants, and authorities.
• Maintain internal controls and improve financial processes and governance.
• Collaborate with regional HQ for cross-border reporting and budgeting.
• Support decision-making with financial analysis and risk assessment.
