Job summary

MatchaTalent seeks a FAT Manager to lead the finance, accounting, and tax functions in Jakarta. You will ensure governance, budgeting, and accurate financial reporting for a multinational operation in Indonesia’s nickel sector.

The role requires strong experience in tax planning, audits, and cross-border consolidation, with Mandarin and English proficiency. A track record in capital-intensive industries is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
• 8-10 years in Finance/Accounting/Tax with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Mining/oil & gas/commodity industries experience preferred.
• Strong Indonesian tax knowledge: corporate income tax, withholding tax, and tax compliance.
• Experience with external audits, tax audits, and cross-functional finance operations.
• Fluent Mandarin and English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead finance, accounting, bookkeeping, treasury, and financial reporting to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Manage corporate tax planning, tax reporting, tax compliance, and coordinate external tax audits.
• Oversee AR/AP, banking, cash flow management, and cost control.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, monthly reports, variance analysis, and strategic financial recommendations.
• Ensure timely statutory financial statements and management reports per local standards and corporate reporting.
• Coordinate with banks, external auditors, tax consultants, and authorities on financial and tax matters.
• Maintain internal controls and continuously improve processes and governance.
• Collaborate with regional and international HQ for cross-border reporting and budgeting.
• Support business decisions with financial analysis and risk assessment.
