Job summary

Wilmar Group seeks an experienced Accounting Supervisor (Mandarin Speaker) to oversee accounting operations and ensure regulatory compliance. You will lead the team and collaborate with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders to support accurate financial reporting and operational excellence.

You will supervise GL, AP, AR, and fixed assets, drive month-end close, prepare statements, and coordinate with auditors while mentoring staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years accounting experience with at least 2 in supervision.
• Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, trading, or industrial firms preferred.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting principles, and taxation.
• Proficient in Excel and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Dynamics).
• Solid cost, inventory accounting and financial controls understanding.
• Familiar with Indonesian tax reporting and compliance requirements.
• Fluent in Mandarin (spoken and written) is mandatory.
• Good communication in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
• Ability to liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and management.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily accounting operations including GL, AP, AR, and fixed assets.
• Ensure accurate month-, quarter-, and year-end closes.
• Prepare and review financial statements and management reports.
• Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with PSAK, tax regulations and company policies.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulators.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial analysis.
• Monitor internal controls and drive process improvements.
• Lead, coach, and develop accounting staff.
