Job summary

PT Summarecon Agung Tbk. is seeking a dedicated Moral Education teacher for Sekolah Terpadu Sedaya Bintang to deliver Mandarin-based morals and values education to children aged 3–12. You will plan lessons, create engaging activities, and foster a positive classroom environment.

The role emphasizes delivering moral education in Mandarin, collaborating with staff, and maintaining open communication with parents, while leveraging IB or international-school approaches when possible.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree (S1), preferably in Education, Mandarin Language, Mandarin Education, Psychology, or a related field.
• Proficient in spoken and written Mandarin.
• Able to deliver lessons effectively in Mandarin.
• Good understanding of Moral Education, Character Building, Ethics, and Values Education.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passionate about education and working with children.
• Patient, responsible, creative, adaptable, and able to work collaboratively.
• Good command of Bahasa Indonesia and English is an advantage.
• Teaching experience is an advantage.
• Experience teaching students aged 3–12 years old is an advantage.
• Familiarity with IB or International School learning approaches is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates with strong Mandarin proficiency are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver Moral Education lessons in accordance with the school's curriculum and educational programs.
• Teach moral education, character building, values, ethics, and positive character development in Mandarin.
• Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, and engaging learning activities.
• Create an active, positive, and age-appropriate learning environment that supports students' development.
• Conduct assessments and evaluate students' academic progress and character development.
• Provide constructive feedback and follow up on students' learning and development.
• Collaborate with teachers and the academic team to develop and improve learning programs.
• Communicate with parents or guardians regarding students' development when required.
• Participate in school activities, student programs, events, and character development initiatives.
• Maintain a safe, positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
• Perform other academic and educational duties as assigned by the school.
