Job summary

SEVEN Retail Group in Jakarta seeks an experienced Mandarin teacher to deliver engaging lessons across proficiency levels and act as a quality benchmark for teaching and classroom management. You will observe peers, offer feedback, and contribute to curriculum improvements while supporting the Academic/Curriculum team to ensure consistent teaching standards across classes.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Education or Mandarin-related studies, 3+ years of Mandarin teaching experience,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Mandarin/Chinese Studies, Linguistics, or related fields.
• 3+ years of experience teaching Mandarin, preferably with children and teens.
• HSK 4 minimum proficiency.
• Strong Mandarin pedagogy, classroom management and engagement.
• Proven track record as a high-performing teacher with strong delivery.
• Strong communication, mentoring, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective Mandarin lessons for students across different proficiency levels.
• Serve as a role model for teaching quality, classroom management, and student engagement.
• Conduct peer class observations and provide constructive feedback when needed.
• Share classroom insights and recommend improvements to curriculum, teaching materials, and learning activities.
• Support the Academic/Curriculum team in maintaining consistent teaching quality across classes.
