Witama School Pekanbaru is seeking a full-time Mandarin Language Teacher to join our on-site team. You will plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Mandarin lessons for students across appropriate grade levels, using age-appropriate methods and resources.

The role requires collaboration with colleagues on curriculum, participation in events, and regular communication with parents, contributing to an inclusive classroom and the school's holistic language education goals.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written) for grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, and conversation.
• Experience in classroom teaching, lesson planning, assessment, and classroom management.
• Ability to create engaging materials, using educational technology, and adapting teaching strategies to learning styles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with students, colleagues and parents in a multicultural environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Chinese Language, Linguistics, or related field; teaching certification or training is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver Mandarin language lessons for students across grade levels.
• Develop lesson plans, assess progress, provide feedback, and maintain records.
