PT MANDALION GLOBAL EDUKASI is seeking a passionate Mandarin Teacher to join our tuition centre in Batam. You will design engaging lessons and deliver Mandarin speaking, listening, reading, and writing instruction.

We value patient, friendly educators who can adapt methods to different students, monitor progress, and communicate with parents and staff to create a positive learning environment. Training and development opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Mandarin Chinese proficiency in speaking and writing.
• High school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; further education is a plus.
• Teaching experience in Mandarin or language centres preferred.
• Experience teaching children or teens is an advantage.
• Ability to explain lessons clearly and adapt to student levels.
• Friendly, patient, responsible, and enthusiastic attitude.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Mandarin classes per curriculum and materials.
• Prepare engaging, age-appropriate lessons.
• Teach speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.

Job description

We are looking for a passionate, patient, and dedicated Mandarin Teacher to join our growing Mandarin Tuition Centre in Batam.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct Mandarin classes for students according to the centre's curriculum and teaching materials
• Prepare engaging and age-appropriate lessons based on students' learning levels
• Teach Mandarin speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills
• Explain Mandarin vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and sentence structures clearly
• Create a positive, encouraging, and enjoyable classroom environment
• Monitor students' learning progress and provide constructive feedback
• Prepare exercises, worksheets, quizzes, and other learning activities when required
• Communicate students' progress and learning needs to parents and the administrative team
• Maintain good classroom management and student discipline
• Participate in teachers' meetings, training sessions, and centre activities
• Continuously improve teaching methods and contribute ideas to enhance students' learning experience

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Mandarin Chinese, both spoken and written
• Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; relevant education qualifications are an advantage
• Teaching experience, especially in Mandarin, Chinese language, or tuition centres, is preferred
• Experience teaching children or teenagers is an advantage
• Good pronunciation and understanding of Mandarin
• Friendly, patient, responsible, and enthusiastic
• Able to explain lessons clearly and adapt teaching methods to different students' abilities
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Creative and willing to develop fun and engaging learning activities
• Able to work independently as well as part of a teaching team
• Applicants based in Batam are preferred
