Job summary

KEMINDO CAO RESOURCES is seeking a Senior Taxation and Accounting Manager in Jakarta to oversee group-wide accounting and tax matters. You will manage tax returns, financial reporting, and cost controls while leading a team of professionals.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of relevant experience, Indonesian tax certifications, and a strong background in manufacturing or mining industries. Master’s degree preferred; English fluency required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation.
• Master's degree in Accounting, Taxation, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, and Taxation (manufacturing, coal mining, export-import, or tax consulting preferred).
• Manager level experience specializing in Accounting and Taxation or equivalent.
• Indonesian Tax Consultant Certification (USKP) required.
• Brevet A & C Tax Certification required.
• Strong cost monitoring and cost control knowledge.
• Experience in coal mining and manufacturing industries preferred.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and submit monthly and annual tax returns (SPT) and other tax obligations.
• Oversee accounting reports, tax projections, and complex tax calculations to determine corporate tax liabilities.
• Lead, supervise, and develop Accounting and Tax team; ensure effective performance.
• Coordinate with tax authorities and external consultants during audits/assessments.
• Ensure tax returns and statutory reports are accurate and timely.
• Monitor costs through budgeting and financial analysis; improve internal controls.

Job description

Oversee and manage all accounting and taxation matters across the Group's companies, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. Develop and manage accounting strategies, financial reporting, tax planning, tax compliance, and tax reporting across the Group.

Key responsibilities

Manage the preparation, review, and submission of monthly and annual tax returns (SPT), along with other applicable tax obligations

Ensure the organization complies with all applicable tax laws, regulations, and statutory requirements

Prepare and review accounting reports, tax projections, and complex tax calculations to determine corporate tax liabilities

Oversee tax audits, tax assessments, tax restitution, and other tax-related matters, including coordination with tax authorities and external consultants

Provide professional advice and recommendations to management on accounting and taxation matters, including the potential impact of existing and newly enacted regulations on business operations

Ensure all tax returns, declarations, and statutory reports are accurate and submitted within the required deadlines

Monitor and control company costs through effective cost accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis

Identify opportunities to improve accounting and taxation processes, internal controls, and operational efficiency

Lead, supervise, and develop the Accounting and Tax team to ensure effective performance and achievement of departmental objectives

About you

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation

Master's degree in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field is highly preferred

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Finance, Accounting, and Taxation, preferably in manufacturing, coal mining, export-import trading, or tax consulting firms

Previous experience at Manager level, specializing in Accounting and Taxation or an equivalent position

Must hold an Indonesian Tax Consultant Certification (USKP)

Must possess Brevet A & C Tax Certification

Strong knowledge and experience in cost monitoring and cost control

Strong understanding of basic accounting and cost accounting, preferably with experience in coal mining and manufacturing industries

Good knowledge of financial statements, tax reporting, tax audits, and tax restitution processes

Fluent in English, both written and spoken
