Pengiklan Anonim seeks a senior tax case manager to support a Tax Manager and Partners in handling complex client tax projects. The role requires deep knowledge of tax law, litigation, and dispute resolution, with a full on-site workload in North Jakarta.
Ideal candidates hold USKP A & B certifications, a bachelor’s degree in accounting, and at least four years in professional tax firms. Strong client relations and mentoring skills are essential.
You will serve as a key case manager, directly supporting the Tax Manager and Partners in handling complex client tax projects, deconstructing fiscal risks, defending clients against controversial tax assessments, and supervising the execution workflows of junior and senior team members.
Your experience must heavily favor professional tax consulting or law firms over standard in-house corporate bookkeeping. You will bridge the gap between complex tax laws and commercial implementation. This role demands a resilient, strategically minded professional who possesses deep litigation and dispute resolution capabilities, holds advanced national tax certifications (USKP A & B), can effectively manage client relations, and can confidently commit to a demanding, full on-site workload in North Jakarta.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Tax Manager/Partner in comprehensively handling client tax projects to ensure maximum compliance and technical accuracy.
Review the work of senior and junior team members to minimise calculation errors or analytical mistakes before submission to upper management.
Efficiently and punctually manage client tax projects across the following extensive scopes: Tax compliance & Tax review, Tax advisory & Tax due diligence, Transfer pricing, Tax dispute (Audit, Objection, Appeal, and Judicial Review / PK).
Communicate and coordinate with clients periodically and professionally regarding document requirements and project updates.
Provide direction, supervision, and mentoring to junior and senior teams to enhance technical capacity and team workflow efficiency.
Actively monitor updates in tax regulations and provide deep analysis on the impact of tax rule changes on clients' businesses.
Assist in developing and maintaining excellent relationships with clients to ensure long-term trust and support the firm's business growth.
Candidate Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Accounting, Fiscal Administration, or a highly relevant financial discipline from a reputable university.
Min. 4+ years of solid experience operating strictly within professional Tax Consulting or Law Firms.
Demonstrated history managing Tax Audits, Tax Litigation, Dispute Resolution, and Technical Advisory cases.
Candidates must have handled at least several high-value SP2DK responses and full audit lifecycles.
Experience within a Big 4 consulting environment is not mandatory, professionals from top-tier boutique tax houses are highly valued.
Must have passed and graduated from both USKP A and USKP B (Ujian Sertifikasi Konsultan Pajak). Note: Standard Brevet Tax certificates are not considered sufficient for this managerial level; USKP certification is mandatory.
Litigation & Audit Toolkits: Exceptional understanding of the Indonesian General Tax Provisions and Procedures (KUP Law), Income Tax Law (PPh), and VAT Law (PPN), with practical experience utilizing DGT electronic portals.
High proficiency in accounting mechanics, trial balance analysis, and reconciling tax reports with financial statements to detect structural leakage early.
Strong communication and persuasive presentation skills; capable of defending intricate technical positions clearly to both tax authorities and client corporate boards.
Intermediate to fluent English to understand business and technical terms.
