Job summary

Ringoconsult is seeking a Tax Specialist to strengthen tax compliance and advisory support for our clients in Indonesia. You will analyze tax laws, prepare filings, and collaborate with auditors and authorities to ensure full regulatory adherence.

The role requires strong accounting knowledge, Excel proficiency, and the ability to translate complex tax concepts into practical business guidance. English communication is a plus and Brevet A & B certification is desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax laws and compliance.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.
• Experience liaising with tax authorities or audits.
• Proficient in Excel and common accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file corporate income tax, WHT, VAT and other taxes accurately.
• Ensure compliance with local, regional, and international tax regulations.
• Research tax laws to improve compliance and identify tax efficiencies.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and tax authorities when needed.
• Provide technical tax guidance to internal teams on business transactions.
• Communicate with tax authorities under supervision of Finance Manager.
• Maintain up-to-date tax records and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file accurate and timely tax returns, including corporate income tax, withholding tax (WHT), VAT, and other applicable taxes
• Ensure full compliance with local, regional, and international tax regulations and reporting standard
• Conduct research on tax laws to ensure compliance andidentify potential tax efficiencies
• Coordinate and collaborate with external auditors, tax consultants, and tax authorities when required
• Provide technical tax advice and guidance to internal departments on business transactions and regulatory matters
• Communicate with tax authorities as needed under the supervision of the Finance Manager
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date tax records and documentation
  

Must Have

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• Strong technical knowledge of Indonesian tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide practical, commercial tax advice
• Experience in managing tax audits and liaising with tax authorities
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (preferred)
