Job summary

PwC Indonesia seeks a Manager in Financial Due Diligence within Deals Transaction Services to help clients realise value from mergers and acquisitions. You will analyze financial statements to identify issues during buy-side and sell-side due diligence and deliver insights to support deal decisions.

You will lead engagements, coordinate with stakeholders, coach junior staff, and apply robust accounting concepts and financial modelling to provide actionable recommendations within a high-delivery

Qualifications

  • Hold a relevant degree in accounting or finance.
  • Bachelor/Master degree with GPA 3.00 or higher.
  • Big Four FS/PE or equivalent background preferred.
  • Minimum 6 years in financial due diligence or related roles.
  • Strong commercial awareness and accounting/finance knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze financial statements to identify issues in target companies.
  • Manage and execute challenging due diligence assignments.
  • Identify opportunities to grow the business.
  • Prepare client reports on target companies.
  • Liaise with clients and target companies.
  • Lead financial due diligence, vendor due diligence, and modelling reviews.

Job Description :

  • Be a part of team which advises State Owned Enterprises, multinational, and Indonesia companies in analyzing a company’s financial statements to identify any accounting, financial, or commercial issues in the company.
  • Responsible for the management and execution of challenging assignments in accordance with our Firm’s high delivery standards
  • Assist in identification and conversion of opportunities in order to further grow our business
  • Prepare report on the target companies for the client.
  • Liaise with the client and the target companies.
  • Managing project related to financial statements analysis and review, buy-side financial due diligence, vendor due diligence, financial closing review, financial modelling assumption review, Sales Purchase Agreements review.
  • Assist and support Directors & Partners

Preferred skills

  • Hold a relevant degree in accounting or finance
  • Bachelor/Master degree from reputable universities with minimum GPA of 3.00(out of 4.00)
  • Big Four accounting firm with FS/Private Equity industry or equivalent background preferred.
  • Have minimum 6 years in Financial due diligence/Transaction Services, auditing, accounting roles, equity research, or merger & acquisition roles background
  • Have a wider commercial awareness, including the understanding of wider business issues
  • Technical knowledge consistent with discipline requirements; accounting concepts, Finance due diligence, basic auditing, and financial statement analysis
