Job summary

PT Pacific Bio Industry is seeking a Senior Accounting Supervisor to lead the accounting team and ensure accurate and timely financial activities. You will supervise closing processes, review journal entries, and maintain compliance with policies.

Responsibilities include overseeing AP/AR, fixed assets, inventory, cost accounting, and producing cost analyses, while coordinating with the Tax Officer and ensuring strong internal controls across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounting or Finance & Accounting.
• Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or senior accounting position.
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting, monthly closing, financial reporting, AP, AR, fixed assets, inventory, accruals, and prepaid expenses.
• Understanding of cost accounting and production costing.
• Knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and internal control.
• Experience in audit preparation and follow-up.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems such as SAP.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
• Strong leadership and team supervision capabilities.

• Review monthly closing activities and ensure all closing issues are resolved before financial reporting
• Review journal entries and accounting transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting policies
• Review AP, AR, fixed assets, inventory, accruals, and prepaid expenses
• Review financial statements and supporting accounting records for accuracy and completeness
• Monitor the monthly closing schedule and ensure reporting deadlines are achieved
• Review and monitor intercompany transactions and related reconciliations
• Coordinate with the Tax Officer for tax reconciliation and accounting-related tax matters
• Prepare and review costing reports, production costs, and abnormal production cost analysis
• Maintain and monitor effective internal controls within accounting processes
